First Publication: One Step Closer to First Milestone ===
Dear fellow members of GPD Editorial Board,
We are pleased to inform you that an editorial contributed by Prof. Wei Wang and Prof. Gautam Sethi, the Editors-in-Chief, has just been published in Gene & Protein in Disease. We'd like to extend our deepest congratulations for this editorial being published in the inaugural issue of the journal!

Note that the DOI will only be activated once we have gathered enough publications in the first issue for ISSN assignment. In other words, the DOI will become active after we secure the ISSN for the journal from the National Library of Singapore.
We are now anticipating the publiction of the second item, which is an original research article. We shall release the article online as soon as the post-acceptance editing by the author and production have been completed.
Last but not least, we are calling for contributions from our fellow Editorial Board Members to support the journal in its infancy stage. Thank you.
